Aari Work Embroidery

Ancient needle art brought to life β€” intricate, beautiful Aari embroidery on your fabric, your way

What is Aari Work?

Aari work is a traditional South Indian embroidery technique done using a special hooked needle called an "Aari." The hook pulls thread from below the fabric to create stunning chain-stitch patterns β€” flowers, paisleys, vines, and geometric designs β€” all crafted by hand.

At Spark Fashion Boutique, our skilled artisans have mastered both traditional and contemporary Aari styles. We work on blouses, dupattas, lehengas, saree borders, and even cushion covers β€” on your fabric or ours.

Whether you want a fully embroidered bridal blouse or a delicate border design, we bring your vision to life with precision and patience.

How We Do Aari Work

Every piece goes through a careful, quality-checked process.

1
Design Consultation

Share your design idea β€” reference image, sketch, or description. We finalise the pattern together.

2
Pattern Tracing

The design is traced or chalked onto your fabric using professional marking tools.

3
Frame Mounting

The fabric is mounted on a wooden frame (khataan) to keep it taut and consistent during embroidery.

4
Aari Embroidery

Our artisan carefully embroiders each stitch by hand using the Aari hook with your chosen thread colors.

5
Quality Check & Delivery

The finished piece is checked, cleaned and handed back to you with care.
